We have had a fantastic response to our “Win a free website competition” and the time has now come to announce the lucky winner.
It has been very difficult task to narrow down the entries as they were all very worthy causes. It was so difficult in fact that, in the end, we decided that instead of one winner we would support two charities who we feel would really benefit from having a new website.
A small local charity that for 40 years has given refuge and support to women and their children who become victims of domestic abuse.
A charity recently set up to raise money for families who have children with cancer to help them with holidays during or after the youngsters’ treatment.
They didn’t have a website and we felt it could make a big difference.
It was obvious from the entries just how much importance charities put on having a website and they are seen as an essential tool in helping improving awareness and helping to raise money for each cause.
We will shortly be meeting with both of the charities to go through what each of them would like their website to do for them and we will then get busy designing and building them.
We would like to thank all the charities that entered and we’re sorry we couldn’t help all of you, though we hope to run a similar competition in the future, so follow us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date.
