New Appointment: Introducing Toby…

We’ve recently taken on a new Senior Designer – Toby Long.

A designer with over 20 years’ experience, Toby has worked as a freelancer for the past eight and a half years, working with clients as diverse as local councils and national pet food brands. With a simple, clean design style, he has decided that now is the right time to move back into an office environment and looks forward to working with our well-established design team.

“I enjoy the challenge of getting words and pictures to work together to sell a product or experience, regardless of medium” – Toby Long

Keen to develop relationships with our existing clients, Toby relishes working with business owners and marketing managers to create designs that match their brand, while enhancing and developing their graphic design output.

Having been trained in the letterpress era of printing, where everything was done by hand (a more creative method of designing according to Toby), he brings with him a wealth of experience that is sure to benefit our clients.

A fan of rugby and cycling, Toby lives in Mid Suffolk, where he enjoys exploring the many miles of green space and making the most of the peace and quiet afforded by an area with 98% green space.

Interesting Fact: In his younger days, Toby was something of a local TV celebrity, having been awarded a Blue Peter badge as runner-up in a 1981 ‘Design a mural for a cross-channel ferry’ competition; and having an illustration – ‘Rabbits having a picnic’ – featured on Look East Weather!
