Educating young people in computing is an essential part of the national curriculum in today’s world, and ComputerXplorers needed a website to reflect their offering in this rapidly growing sector. 

Creating a franchise website

ComputerXplorers approached Kall Kwik Bury St Edmunds to help them create a new website that aligned with the market they operated in, was easy for their user base to understand and was able to support individual sites for each franchisee. 

We delivered a new website that utilises the WordPress Multisite functionality, enabling each franchisee to have their own version of the main website, while allowing the head office to retain control over the site as a whole. It also allowed each sub-site to have its own localised SEO, and enabled the franchisee to publish their own local news stories to help develop their local profile.

ComputerXplorers has now also expanded its offering to offer physical education through a new company called ActiveXplorers. We were able to take the bespoke website design we did for ComputerXplorers and using the same bespoke theme, set up a new WordPress Network site for the ActiveXplorers franchise. 

Their website is also hosted hosted on servers that are run on 100% renewable energy.

Graphic design & branding

The existing brand was further developed by our design team and we created a range of exhibition materials, such as roller banners and pop up stands, for use at trade shows. We extended this further to create a range of flyers and mini brochures for franchisees along with print advertising in trade magazines for the franchisor. 

We also supported the brand to provide clothing to ComputerXplorers franchisees including polo shirts, t-shirts, hoodies and coats. To make ordering easy for their franchisees, we set up a dedicated ordering website so they can order clothing 24/7 at a time to suit them.

In addition, we provide a range of other services to support their franchise network, including email marketing and direct mail campaigns. For new franchisees we have created start-up business stationery packs to help them launch their business in their local area.
