Churchgates is a firm of accountants, solicitors, tax advisers, investment managers and financial planners with offices in Bury St Edmunds and London.
Having previously provided Churchgates with printing services, the company approached our design team to rebrand their business image. At the same time, we were tasked with creating a new website that reflected the fresh, modern style of the updated brand.
Content heavy, there was a need to convey complex information effectively. Churchgates also wanted their website to highlight their authority in their fields, while at the same time reflecting their local roots in the region.

To achieve Churchgates’ goals, we created a fresh-looking website, which was full of information but presented in a way that is visually appealing and user friendly.
We used a large full width design, with the home page incorporating imagery of their offices and local landmarks, such as the Abbey Gardens and the historic Norman tower which is the cornerstone of their brand, to mirror the company’s values as local tax, accountancy and legal experts.
With lots of content on the service pages, we presented this complex information in easy to digest chunks and optimised the copy for users and search engines. Additionally, we introduced an RSS feed to allow the blog to be updated regularly with content from an external source.
