Renowned for providing a truly English experience, Harriets Café Tearooms wanted to allow customers from far afield to enjoy their brand through a user-friendly ecommerce website.
Having worked with Harriets for the past 6 years on their website needs, we have constantly pushed the boundaries of what a ‘tearoom’ website could be. Built to reflect the traditions of the Harriets brand, but with a modern twist, the latest incarnation of the site is clean and conventional, interspersed with contemporary elements, such as the interactive website header and Bookatable integration.

With a simple-to-use checkout process and super fast hosting, user experience is at the forefront of our design. With more traffic coming from tablets and mobile devices, we rebuilt Harriets Cafe Tearooms to improve the navigation experience for all users on all devices.
We manage the all of the email marketing for Harriets from writing the emails, the design and build as well as reviewing the analytics to help increase boost sales on the website.
Harriets had their own Mailchimp account which we have continued to use. We have linked this with their wifi in their tearooms to build up the email marketing list (all GDPR compliant!).
Product photography is essential to converting sales. We professionally photographed Harriets’ products before showcasing them on a clean, light grey background. By eliminating distracting backgrounds, the products are emphasised and displayed to their maximum.
