Be festival ready this summer

Beer festivals, music festivals, farm open days, food festivals. It’s coming up to that time of year when the weather improves and people want to display their products and celebrate their market sector through a series of special events. It’s nearly festival season!

If you’re going to be organising a festival, there are many things to take into consideration. Space, budgets, permits, security, marketing, the list seems endless. Then there’s the specifics to consider. What drinkware are you going to offer visitors? Do they need wristbands to leave the site? Have the stewards got high vis jackets?

This is where Kall Kwik can help.

We offer a host of promotional products that will ensure your festival goes off without a hitch. Here are some of the most popular festival products that we supply:

Promoting your festival

Before and after an event, promotion is of vital importance. Posters and leaflets can create a buzz about your event, and drum up much-needed interest, ensuring people will actually attend! Early bird pricing is a good way of generating initial ticket sales well before the event, and can be promoted through an email campaign, which will provide you with measurable results. Consider offering discounted pricing to previous attendees, rewarding their loyalty. Perhaps a direct mail campaign could reignite their interest.

Social media profiles for the event are another way of generating interest. Consider creating a hashtag that’s specific to the event that fans can use, creating a sense of community amongst them, and helping you keep on top of any mentions you’re receiving.

On the day, make sure your event is seen with bright vinyl banners and flags that will direct attendees, and attract passing trade.

At the event

Printed t-shirts are a good way of remembering a great event, and a wonderful sales opportunity at a festival. As are water bottles. Branded with your logo, they’ll be a great marketing tool long after a festival has finished.

Then there are more practical considerations. A wristband is a good way of showing someone has paid their entrance fee, and therefore allows them to come and go as they please. They’re also a fashionable memento of your event. Stewards need to be seen and easily identified, so branded high vis jackets are a great idea, while a festival programme can help attendees get the best from their visit and find their way around easily. Informative signs can also keep the crowds moving in the right direction.

Then there are the products that are specific to a particular event. Drinkware such as beer mugs would be ideal for a beer festival, while lanyards and clear PVC wallets may be more appropriate for a more formal event.
